SLEEP APNEA

The quantity and quality of your sleep has a significant impact on your health, well-being and overall quality of life. Obstructive Sleep Apnea and snoring disrupt your sleep and inevitably increase your risk of health problems, sometimes becoming fatal.

Whether you have already been diagnosed with mild or moderate Obstructive Sleep Apnea or you are having warning signs such as daytime exhaustion, fatigue and frequent waking, we would love to help!

SLEEP DIVORCE

The husband snores. The wife nudges him to flip over. Both wake up feeling grouchy the next morning. Does this sound familiar? Or it may be a situation where the noise from your spouse's CPAP machine is constantly disturbing your sleep. Snoring and sleep apnea are one of the #1 causes of sleep divorce where couples are eventually forced to sleep in separate rooms. Both parties are suffering due to one diagnosis. This is a very common situation where an oral sleep appliance could be life changing.

CPAP INTOLERANCE

If you have been diagnosed with Obstructive Sleep Apnea, you have most likely been prescribed a CPAP machine. This is the "gold standard" of treatment, however, many patients have found that they are unable to tolerate wearing it. The reasons for this include mask leaks and/or an inability to get a mask to fit properly, claustrophobia or feeling of suffocation, uncomfortable straps and headgear, latex allergies, noise from the CPAP machine that disturbs sleep of the patient and/or their partner, and even restricted movement during sleep because of the CPAP apparatus. If you have tried a CPAP and found that it simply does not work for you, an oral appliance may be your next best option.

ORAL APPLIANCE THERAPY

Oral appliance therapy is an effective treatment option for snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). Worn only during sleep, an oral appliance fits like a sports mouth guard or an orthodontic retainer. It supports the jaw in a forward position to help maintain an open upper airway. Research shows that oral appliance therapy is an effective treatment option for snoring and OSA. A custom-fit oral sleep appliance can improve your sleep, restore your alertness, and revitalize your health. Patients like oral appliance therapy, because it is comfortable, easy to wear, quiet, portable, convenient for travel, and easy to care for.

goodnight snores!
